Industrial Action on at the National Irrigation Commission
The latest action by the workers was triggered when the NIC wrote to a BITU delegate late Friday evening sending him on interdiction, and follows three other controversial dismissals over the past several weeks. In those instances, the BITU wrote to the NIC expressing grave concern that “the sanctions outlined in the letters are inconsistent with that recommended by the relevant disciplinary hearings”
